Brown Turkey Fig (Ficus carica Brown Turkey) - 21/25 trees will be available during the first hour of the event first come, first served.
The Brown Turkey Fig is a small; fruit tree reaching 15'-30' tall and 15'-30' wide, and is moderate to maintain. This tree grows at a moderate rate, growing as tall as 15'-30' in 20 years, and reaches its mature height and width after 10-20 years. This tree requires full sun and moist; well-drained soil.

North Star Cherry (Prunus cerasus North Star) - 20/25 trees will be available during the first hour of the event first come, first served.
The North Star Cherry is a small; fruit tree reaching 10'-12' tall and 10'-12' wide, and is moderately difficult to maintain. This tree grows at a moderate rate, growing as tall as 10'-12' in 20 years, and reaches its mature height and width after 10-20 years. This tree requires full sun and moist; well-drained soil.

This tree grows at a moderate rate, growing as tall as 10'-12' in 20 years, and reaches its mature height and width after 10-20 years. This tree requires full sun and moist; well-drained soil.

Kieffer Pear (Pyrus communis Kieffer) - 21/25 trees will be available during the first hour of the event first come, first served.
The Kieffer Pear is a small; ornamental; fruit tree reaching 8'-15' tall and 8'-15' wide, and is difficult to maintain. This tree grows at a moderate to fast rate, growing as tall as 8'-15' in 20 years, and reaches its mature height and width after 20-50 years. This tree requires full sun and moist; well-drained soil.



What will I have to agree to if I want a tree?
  • I will plant my tree in the ground and care for my tree according to NYRP guidelines.
  • I will plant my tree in the ground on property I have permission to plant on that is within the 5 boroughs of New York City.
  • I grant NYRP and GreenThumb rights to take and use photos and videos of me and all parties that come to the event with me, including minors, without compensation.
  • The information I provide can be shared by NYRP with GreenThumb for follow up about your tree and outreach.
