Chocolate Persimmon (Diospyros kaki Chocolate) - 13/25 trees will be available during the first hour of the event first come, first served.
The Chocolate Persimmon is a medium; fruit; ornamental tree reaching 10'-18' tall and 10'-20' wide in 10-20 years, and is difficult to maintain. This tree grows at a slolw to medium rate, growing as tall as 10'-18' in 20 years, and reaches its mature height and width after 10-20 years. This tree requires full sun and moist; well-drained.

Carolina Gold Peach (Prunus persica Carolina Gold) - 18/25 trees will be available during the first hour of the event first come, first served.
The Carolina Gold Peach is a small tree reaching 10'-18' tall and 10'-20' wide in 10-20 years, and is moderately difficult to maintain. This tree grows at a fast rate, growing as tall as 10'-18' in 20 years, and reaches its mature height and width after 10-20 years. This tree requires full sun and moist; well-drained.

Methley Plum (Prunus salacina Methley) - 23/25 trees will be available during the first hour of the event first come, first served.
The Methley Plum is a small tree reaching 10'-15' tall and 10'-15' wide in 10-20 years, and is moderately difficult to maintain. This tree grows at a moderate rate, growing as tall as 10'-18' in 20 years, and reaches its mature height and width after 10-20 years. This tree requires full sun and moist; well drained.

Celeste Fig (Ficus carica Celeste) - 22/25 trees will be available during the first hour of the event first come, first served.
The Celeste Fig is a small; fruit tree reaching 15'-30' tall and 15'-30' wide in 10-20 years, and is moderately difficult - must wrap in winter to maintain. This tree grows at a moderate rate, growing as tall as 15'-30' in 20 years, and reaches its mature height and width after 10-20 years. This tree requires full sun and moist; well-drained.



What will I have to agree to if I want a tree?
  • I will plant my tree in the ground and care for my tree according to NYRP guidelines.
  • I will plant my tree in the ground on property I have permission to plant on that is within the 5 boroughs of New York City.
  • I grant NYRP and We Stay / Nos Quedamos Committee Inc. & The Office of Council Member Maria Del Carmen Arroyo rights to take and use photos and videos of me and all parties that come to the event with me, including minors, without compensation.
